A linear traverse with lifting by the edges can be used to lift and move a large list of loads. The design of this traverse eliminates the overweighting of the load on one side when lifting, so it is usually used to move loads with an unknown or asymmetric center of gravity.
The TLE traverse has a significantly lower mass compared to a linear traverse with a rise beyond the center, but it has a greater construction height. This traverse is hung on the crane hook using a two-branch sling.
